Maria Florencia Medica has over 10 years of work experience. Maria Florencia began their career in 2010 as an Associate Consultant at NEXT Partners. In 2012, they joined Despegar.com as an Analista Regional Marketing Online, where they were responsible for analyzing investment in digital media for all of Latin America, creating and tracking KPIs to improve campaign performance, and applying investment portfolio theory to one of the company's most important accounts. In 2014, they moved to LAN Airlines as an Analista Revenue Management - Planificación Comercial. In 2016, they took on the role of Revenue Management Team Leader at Despegar. In 2019, they became an Online Marketing Manager at TechStyle Fashion Group. Most recently, they were appointed as the Head of Paid Media and Business Intelligence at Barkibu in 2021.

Maria Florencia Medica obtained their Ingeniera degree from the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires in 2011, majoring in Industrial. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachiller en lenguas modernas from Colegio San Cirano in 2005, specializing in Inglés and Francés. In 2009, they obtained a Nivel basico Italiano certification from the Asociación Dante Alighieri Buenos Aires. Maria Florencia also obtained an International Certificate of Education (ICE) from the University of Cambridge in 2005.
