Dale Lappe’s 31 years in the construction industry have focused on oil and gas operations and administration. He began his career in field construction for a natural gas company in the Northwest, progressing up through the ranks over time to operations management. After holding positions in operations, planning, and management, he gained a thorough understanding of the industry from a variety of perspectives. Later in his career, he transitioned to the contractor side of the business. During his tenure as Vice President of Construction Services for the Snelson Companies, he managed day-to-day divisional operations as well as the company’s implementation and participation in long-term service contracts, including a major pipeline integrity and safety enhancement program exceeding $100 million in annual revenue.
In 2015, Dale joined Barnard to manage the western region of the company's oil and gas division. Upon his promotion to Vice President/Operations Manager in 2021, he now oversees oil and gas operations at the executive level, working with Owners, Engineers and subcontractor partners in the planning, estimating, and execution of work.
