Hazel Russell

Hazel Russell possesses extensive experience in business development and educational roles, currently serving as a Business Development Manager and Children’s Service Manager at Barnardo's since September 2014. Previously, Hazel held multiple managerial positions at Barnardo's, starting as a Programme Co-ordinator for the PATHS Plus Programme, an evidence-based social and emotional learning initiative for primary-aged children. Prior to Barnardo's, Hazel worked as an Employability Trainer at Jobs and Business Glasgow and a Probation Teacher at Glasgow City Council. Early career experience includes roles such as Education Liaison Co-ordinator at Scottish Business in the Community and Primary Programme Development Officer at the Greater Opportunity of Access and Learning with Schools Project. Hazel's educational credentials include a PGDE from the University of Strathclyde, a PGDip in Information Technology from the University of Paisley, a BA in Business Administration and Management, also from the University of Paisley, and an HND in Travel with Tourism from Cardonald College.
