Sivam Rengasamy (Joe)

Sivam Rengasamy, also known as Joe, has extensive work experience in various managerial and engineering roles. Sivam started their career in 1994 as a QC/QA Engineer at TI Automotive, where they successfully set up the quality department in Jakarta, Indonesia, and received multiple awards for their contributions. Joe then moved on to Metal Component Engineering Limited, where they served as a QC/QA Manager and achieved ISO 9001 certification while efficiently transferring a mechanical assembly line.

In 2007, Joe joined Cameron International Malaysia Systems as a Quality Engineering Manager, where they implemented innovative inspection techniques and obtained Six Sigma Green Belt Level II. Sivam successfully proposed and obtained approval for a stand-alone radiography bunker, optimizing the manufacturing process.

From 2011 to 2018, Joe worked at Gabbro as a Plant Operations Manager, where they generated significant revenue by bringing in new business and led the company to obtain ISO9001, API Q1, and OSHAS certifications.

Currently, Joe holds the position of Head of Engineering/Quality/Facility at Barnes Aerospace since 2018. Sivam has been recognized with the "Bravo Award" and nominated as the best global employee. Sivam also serves as the focal point for customer engineering and quality issues.

Throughout their career, Joe has demonstrated strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality excellence.

Sivam Rengasamy (Joe) obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Institute of Technical Education Singapore between 2002 and 2005. Prior to that, they completed an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration from RIMA College, from 2001 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, Joe has also obtained several certifications. Sivam completed Non Destructive Examination (NDE) training from A STAR TRAINING AND CONSULTANCY LIMITED in November 2010. Sivam also completed a Management Development Training Program from Cameron, a Schlumberger company, in May 2010. In 2009, Joe obtained Lean Six Sigma Green Belt 1 & 2 certification from the same institution. In August 2008, they became a Certified Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety System Manager through the International Professional Managers Association (IPMA). Other certifications include Lean Strategy and Implementation from Neville Clarke in September 2004, Internal Quality Auditor ISO9001 (IRCA) from Neville Clarke in November 2002, and Internal Quality Auditor TS16949 certification. Additionally, Joe has undergone training in Liquid Penetrant (ASNT), Magnetic Particle Inspection Level II (ASNT), Radiographic Film Interpretation (ASNT), Ultrasonic Testing (ASNT), and Visual Testing (ASNT) through Virtual Engineering Solution PTE LTD, although the specific months and years of completion are not provided.
