Steven Burkinshaw

Steven Burkinshaw has a diverse work experience. Steven is currently working as an Assistant First Team Coach for Sheffield Union FC since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Public Services Teacher at Barnsley College starting in November 2019. Steven also had a role as a Local election candidate for The Conservative Party from November 2022 to May 2023.

Before these roles, Steven worked at Capita as an Operational Trainer / High Bill Specialist for Thames Water from December 2018 to November 2019. In this role, they were responsible for arranging investigations for customers with suspected leaks and delivering training to new and tenured agents. Steven also worked as a Bars/Duty Manager at Holiday Inn Barnsley from October to December 2018, and as a Bar Supervisor at EQB Ltd from December 2017 to October 2018.

Additionally, Steven gained experience as an English Recruiter and Promoter for Sunny Beach Allstars from October 2017 to March 2018, and as a Team Member at Greggs from July 2015 to January 2018. Steven also served as a Student Governor (FE & HE) at Barnsley College from July 2015 to July 2017, and worked as a Bartender at Acorn Brewery Limited from April to June 2017.

Steven is also a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert for the 2020-2021 period, certified as a Microsoft Certified Educator (MCE) in January 2021, and holds another Microsoft Innovative Educator certification obtained in October 2020. Furthermore, they completed the Safe Return to Work (COVID-19) certification from City & Guilds in August 2020.
