Saad Hazim has a diverse range of work experience in the technology field. Saad began their career as a Computer Technician at The New York Times in 2004 and continued in that role until 2010. Saad then worked as a Freelance Computer Service Engineer at Computer Challenges from 2008 to 2011. From 2011 to 2012, Saad held the position of Sales Manager at APC by Schneider Electric. In 2013, they worked as a PC Support Technician at Electronic Commodity Resources International for a year. Saad then joined the Barona Band of Mission Indians in 2015 and held various roles, including PC Technician, Systems Engineer, System Network Administrator, Senior Systems Administrator, and currently, Director of Information Technology. Saad'semployment at Barona Band of Mission Indians is ongoing as of 2020.

Saad Hazim completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Technology University, which they attended from 1998 to 2002. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications, including The Definitive GRC Analyst Master Class from Simply Cyber School in August 2023, VMware Certified Professional 6.5 – Data Center Virtualization from VMware in May 2018, MCSA: Windows Server 2012 - Certified 2016 from Microsoft in December 2016, and Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA Routing and Switching) from Cisco in January 2019.
