Karl Wuolo-Journey

Karl Wuolo-Journey is an experienced wastewater engineer currently working at Barr Engineering Co. since May 2021, focusing on engineering calculations, report drafting, and chemical modeling for wastewater projects. Prior to this role, Karl served as a staff professional at Geosyntec Consultants, where responsibilities included site investigations of contaminated soils. Additionally, Karl has contributed to environmental engineering research at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, assisting in the development of antifouling membranes, and completed an internship with MnTAP, enhancing water and energy efficiency at Fulton Brewing. Karl holds a Master's degree in Civil Engineering with an environmental focus on wastewater treatment and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, both from the University of Minnesota.
