Thien Nguyen

Thien Nguyen is an experienced engineer specializing in air quality and environmental compliance within the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as an Air Quality Engineer at Ovintiv USA Inc. since November 2022, and concurrently working as a Chemical Engineer at Barr Engineering Co. since May 2019, Thien has extensive expertise in air permitting, regulatory compliance, emission inventories, and greenhouse gas reporting. Proficient in various process simulation and air dispersion modeling software, Thien has demonstrated a strong capability in supporting clients' environmental needs. Earlier experience includes a role as an Environmental Engineer at Marquez Environmental Services from October 2014 to May 2019 and an internship at Imerys Filtration in 2014. Thien holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, earned between 2010 and 2014.
