Michael Jarrett

Michael Jarrett is an experienced R&D Project Manager with a focus on soft armor at Barrday Inc. since March 2012, where responsibilities include overseeing projects from prototype development to commercial manufacturing and qualifying new suppliers. Previous roles include leading R&D for unidirectional fabric development and providing technical sales support for ballistic protection markets. Prior to Barrday, Michael served as a Quality Engineer at Protective Products Enterprises and a Design Engineer for MSA - The Safety Company, specializing in ballistic protection products. Early career experience includes an engineering technician role at 3TEX, Inc., contributing to high-performance fabric development. Michael holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering from North Carolina State University.
