Rick Turvey

Rick Turvey currently serves as a Spanish Teacher at Barre City Elementary and Middle School, utilizing the Comprehensible Input method to enhance student language proficiency. Previous experience includes leadership as a City Year Team Leader, where Rick guided first-year AmeriCorps members and improved student services, as well as teaching English in public schools as a Language and Culture Assistant in Madrid, Spain. Additional roles include working as a Behavior Interventionist at Howard Center, supporting students with behavioral challenges, and serving as a City Year Corps Member, focusing on tutoring and mentoring in various educational settings. Rick holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Assumption University and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Spanish Language and Literature at Universidad Internacional de La Rioja.
