Sylvain Bellemare

Sylvain Bellemare's work experience includes a role as Vice President of Engineering & Process Improvement at Barrette Outdoor Living since 2016. In this position, they are responsible for equipment configuration and design, developing strategic manufacturing processes, and managing technical staff development. From 2004 to 2016, they were Vice President of Engineering at Barrette, accountable for the overall performance of the engineering and automation service team. Prior to that, they held various roles at Tembec Inc., including General Manager of the Bearn sawmill and two other sawmills, and Maintenance Supervisor and Project Engineer Manager.

Sylvain Bellemare obtained their Baccalaureat in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University, where they attended from 1986 to 1990. Following that, they pursued a M.Sc. degree in Maîtrise en gestion de projet from Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue, completing their studies from 1997 to 2001.
