Kelly Page began her aerospace career with Barrios Technology in 2006 as a Book Manager in support of the International Space Station (ISS) Program. She quickly moved to technical assignments leading to certification as an Increment Engineer providing real-time support in the ISS Management Center for multiple Shuttle and ISS missions and leading the Crew Time Working Group. Both her NASA customer and Barrios recognized her technical and leadership skills with the coveted Silver Snoopy for her leadership in making the ISS crew time transition from assembly to utilization. resulting in record-breaking hours devoted to research onboard the ISS.
Kelly’s performance in these technical roles led to her promotion to Mission Integration Deputy Manager on Barrios’ Mission and Program Integration (MAPI) prime contract. She became the Manager of MAPI’s ISS Program Services, responsible for functions critical to the execution of the complex international space endeavor such as the Certification of Flight Readiness for all vehicles visiting the ISS, and implementing process improvements resulting in savings for multiple programs. Her next role was Manager of Mission Integration, leading her team to achieve continued excellent performance ratings from her NASA customers. Under her leadership, the team implemented multiple efficiency projects and tools for NASA and MAPI. She successfully brought on the Gateway Program to the MAPI scope of work while sustaining superior performance for the ISS Program.
Kelly moved from her role on MAPI to become a member of the Executive Leadership Team in 2019. She focused heavily on Business Development, leading key captures for the company. She established Barrios’ commercial space endeavors through Stellar Access focusing on stimulating demand for the Low Earth Orbit (LEO) commercial economy. In 2021 Kelly became the President of Barrios, responsible for the strategic and tactical direction of the company. This role continues the tradition of Barrios as a woman owned and operated small business.
Kelly earned a BS degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the University of Houston in 2005. She is the Texas lead for the Citizens for Space organization, frequently leading teams on visits to Congress to advocate for funding of NASA’s human space flight programs. She also supports the United Way of Greater Houston and Big Brothers/Big Sisters. Kelly and her husband Jack live in Houston, Texas near the Johnson Space Center, with their three young sons, Jackson, Oliver, and Theodore. Kelly enjoys traveling with her family, learning about wine, and exploring the city.
