Jack Otter

Jack Otter is currently the Global Head of Wealth & Asset Management at Barron's. Jack has held this position since June 2018. Prior to that, they were the Interim Editor-in-Chief of Barron's from March 2017 to September 2017.

Jack has over 25 years of experience in the financial journalism industry. Jack started their career in 1995 as a freelance writer for various online and print publications. In 2001, they became the Articles Editor for SmartMoney magazine. Jack held this position until 2006 when they left to become the Deputy Editor for Rodale / Best Life Magazine.

In 2009, Jack became the Executive Editor for CBS MoneyWatch.com. Jack was with CBS Interactive until 2012 when they left to become the Editor for Barrons.com. Jack held this position until 2017 when they were promoted to Global Head of Wealth & Asset Management at Barron's.

Jack Otter has a BA in Political Science from Middlebury College. Jack also has a French degree from St. Bernard's and a degree from St. George's.
