Jacob Sonenshine

Jacob Sonenshine is a reporter at Barron's. Jacob has also written for Jackson Hole Economics and TheStreet. Jacob's focus is on the U.S. stock market, finding features on both individual stocks and the broader indexes. Jacob also covers earnings reports and company announcements.

Sonenshine interned at Business Insider, the New York Post, and USA TODAY. Jacob graduated from the University of Missouri in 2018 with a degree in economics and journalism.

Jacob Sonenshine attended Hunter College, where they received a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government. Jacob then attended The City College of New York, where they received a Bachelor's degree in Journalism. Jacob has no formal education beyond that, but has studied Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies informally through Franklin & Marshall College. Jacob also attended Scarsdale Senior High School.
