Asmelash Gebrekristos

Asmelash Gebrekristos is a Java Developer with extensive experience in software design, development, testing, and documentation. Currently employed at Bart & Associates, Inc. since August 2014, Asmelash specializes in Agile methodologies and has successfully refactored a legacy monolithic application into microservices utilizing Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Docker. Prior to this role, Asmelash worked at Lattice Group from September 2013 to August 2014, focusing on developing Java-based components, maintaining existing projects, and addressing legacy code issues. Asmelash holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from SUNY New Paltz and a Bachelor of Arts in Statistics and Demography from the University of Asmara.
