Mike Kaveney

Mike Kaveney is BHI’s Chief Operating Officer with responsibility for the growth and performance of specialty field services to nuclear, fossil, and renewable power facilities, industrial sites and petrochemical refineries. These services include specialty welding and machining, valve services, instrumentation & control services, electrical services, solar maintenance, and steam, hydro and wind turbine services.

Mike has a wealth of expertise in industrial and power generation services, with over 25 years of leadership experience. Prior to joining BHI in 2012, Mike was President of WeldTech Services Corp. He joined in 2010 with a major focus on rapid growth and operational infrastructure, ultimately acting as lead for the sale of the company to BHI Energy.

Mike also worked with Westinghouse Electric for six years in increasing roles of responsibility, overseeing global project management, leading major customer efforts and negotiations and serving as Vice President of Operations – Americas.

He worked with Welding Services, Inc for 8 years, culminating in his position as Vice President.

He holds an MBA from Georgia State University and a BS in Physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt.
