Dr. Sara al-Hail

Dr. Sara Al-hail has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Dr. Sara began their career at QatarEnergy as a Trainee in June 2006, and later became a Senior Electrical Engineer in May 2011. Dr. Sara worked there until January 2021. In February 2021, they joined Barzan Holdings as a Lead, and eventually became the Head of Research, Experiments, and Development Office in January 2023. Additionally, Dr. Al-hail also holds the position of Head of Research, Experiments, and Development Office at the Ministry of Defense Qatar Armed Forces, starting in 2023.

Dr. Sara Al-hail pursued their education at various institutions throughout their academic journey. Dr. Sara began their studies in 2006 at the Academic Bridge Program, where they obtained an English Language Diploma. From 2007 to 2011, they attended Texas A&M University, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering/ Mathematics. Continuing their academic pursuits, Dr. Al-hail enrolled at Hamad Bin Khalifa University from 2015 to 2016, completing an Executive Master's degree in Energy and Resources. Lastly, they obtained a Ph.D. in Sustainable Energy from Hamad Bin Khalifa University, dedicating four years of their life to this achievement, from 2016 to 2020.
