Amy Raskind

Amy Raskind is a seasoned mental health professional with extensive experience in counseling and program coordination. Currently serving as the Mental Health Program Coordinator at Westminster School since August 2022, Raskind specializes in mental health consulting, crisis management, and social-emotional learning education. As a Clinical Contributor for BASE Education since January 2019, Raskind develops online curricula focused on social-emotional learning. Previously, Raskind served as a School Counselor at The Kent School from September 2003 to June 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing a counseling department for 550 students and implementing comprehensive health and wellness curricula. Raskind's career also encompasses positions such as Psychotherapist at Buckingham Psychological Services and School Counselor in Denver Public Schools, showcasing a commitment to supporting at-risk youth and fostering mental wellness across various educational settings. Raskind holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and Counselor Education from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Union College.
