Emma Bolton is an experienced ocean project manager and research scientist currently working at Basecamp Research since October 2021, focusing on international research expeditions that involve sampling and sequencing environmental DNA to enhance understanding of biodiversity. Prior to this role, Emma worked as an academic dive specialist at the University of Plymouth, providing support for academic diving services, and served as an ocean scientist at the British Antarctic Survey, managing biological and oceanographic research in Antarctica.
