Ineke Knot is an accomplished field research scientist currently employed at Basecamp Research, leading international field expeditions for environmental DNA sampling from biodiversity hotspots. In addition to this role, Ineke is a PhD candidate at the University of Amsterdam, focusing on great ape health monitoring using portable sequencing technology. Previous experience includes positions as a research scientist at NatureMetrics, where Ineke developed species identification methods, and as the founder of portablegenomics.org, which provides resources for remote genomics.
