Eleanor Poulter is an accomplished professional in the field of bioinformatics, currently serving as the Head of Computational Biology at Baseimmune since March 2022, where previous roles included Computational Science Lead, Principal Bioinformatician, and Senior Bioinformatician. Prior to Baseimmune, Eleanor worked at General Bioinformatics Limited as a Bioinformatics Consultant from May 2014 to March 2022 and held the position of Research Fellow at The Pirbright Institute from April 2012 to March 2014. Earlier in their career, Eleanor was a Post Doctoral researcher at the University of East Anglia from April 2008 to March 2012. Eleanor earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Micro-evolution of Foot-and-mouth disease virus from the University of Glasgow between 2004 and 2007 and completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Virology at the University of Warwick from 2000 to 2004.
