Simon Best is the current CEO at BaseKit. Prior to that, they were the Director at iLeads.co.uk from January 2007 to August 2008. Simon was responsible for the architecture of the web app and delivery systems, online marketing, and business development. Before that, they were the Founder and CTO of Progressive Internet from June 2005 to January 2007. There, they were responsible for marketing, pitching, design, and development; the entire life cycle of projects at a web agency. Even earlier, they were Technical Director at 1st For Everything from May 2003 to June 2005. There, they were responsible for the technical design and architecture of the ALPS lead delivery and management app, used by thousands of financial advisers across the UK. Prior to that, they were a developer at Imagination Technologies from October 2001 to May 2003.

Simon Best is a graduate of the University of Bristol, where they obtained a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
