Guilherme Silva

Guilherme Silva has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and development. Guilherme is currently serving as a Principal Engineer at Basepair since 2022. Prior to this, Guilherme held various roles at different companies. From 2020 to 2022, they worked as the Head of Engineering at eftpos Payments Australia, where they led the efforts for the enterprise to be accredited within The Trusted Digital Identity Framework (TDIF) and spearheaded the DigitalID project.

From 2019 to 2020, Guilherme worked as the Head of Flight Systems Development at Helloworld Travel Limited, where they also led a team of developers. Earlier, from 2011 to 2019, they worked at Experience Oz as a Team Leader, responsible for designing and rewriting the organization's main product and integrating the core platform with multiple booking systems.

Before that, Guilherme worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Options from 2009 to 2011 and as a Software Engineer at OnCast from 2007 to 2009, where they led a team on a key module of the Digitro Security platform and mentored developers in front-end development. Additionally, they worked as a Software Engineer at Aprico Consultants from 2006 to 2006, focusing on risk analysis and test automation, and as a Software Developer at Grupo Nexxera from 2003 to 2005, contributing to the development of various modules for the company's custom ERP system.

Throughout their career, Guilherme has demonstrated expertise in software engineering, team leadership, project management, system integration, and test automation.

Guilherme Silva completed their Master of Technology - MTech degree in Enterprise Systems from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) between 2014 and 2016. Prior to that, between 2004 and 2007, they attended Faculdades Barddal, but it is not specified whether they obtained a degree or pursued any specific field of study at that institution.
