Tom Bean

Tom Bean is an experienced ecotoxicologist currently serving as a Senior Ecotoxicologist at BASF since December 2023. Prior to this role, Tom worked at FMC Corporation as an Ecotoxicologist in Global Regulatory Sciences from November 2020 to December 2023. Tom's professional background includes a managerial position in Avian Ecotoxicology at Smithers Environmental Risk Sciences Division from March 2018 to October 2020, as well as dual postdoctoral researcher roles at the University of Maryland and the U.S. Geological Survey from May 2015 to March 2018. Tom earned a PhD in Environmental Science from the University of York, where Tom also completed a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and Management and Environmental Science, respectively, along with an additional Bachelor's degree in Geography from Durham University.
