Janelle Gibbs

Janelle Gibbs has a diverse work experience starting from 2007 to the present. Janelle worked as a Product Development Intern at McCormick in 2007. Later, in 2009, they joined Young Living Essential Oils where they held multiple roles such as Microbiology Technician, Research Scientist, Sr. Manager Nutrition Formula, and eventually became the Director of Product Development Nutrition. During their time at Young Living Essential Oils, Janelle was responsible for overseeing the entire development process of vitamins, minerals, and supplements, from ideation to post-production. Janelle developed new formulas that generated significant annual sales and supported the registration and launch of established products in over 20 global markets. In 2021, Janelle transitioned to Jane Innovations as the Director of Product and Business Development. Janelle served in this role until January 2023. Currently, Janelle Gibbs is working as the Director of Product Development at Basic Research, a position they assumed in July 2022.

Janelle Gibbs started their education journey in 2004 at Brigham Young University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science in 2009. During the year 2008, they also attended the Southern Institute of Technology and received a Certificate of Completion in Therapeutic Recreation/Recreational Therapy. In 2016, they furthered their education at Dominion Herbal College, focusing on Herbalism and becoming a Certified Herbalist in 2017.
