Phil Gorman

Philip Gorman is an experienced professional in the renewable energy and transportation sectors, currently serving as the Head of Charging Infrastructure and Vehicle Systems Engineer at BasiGo since October 2021, a company focused on transforming public transit in East Africa. Prior to this role, Gorman held key positions at ENGIE Energy Access (Africa) from 2017 to 2021, where Gorman was the Product Integrity Team Lead and contributed to off-grid energy solutions across nine African markets. Gorman also worked at Fenix International as a Product Integrity Engineer and began a career as a Graduate Consultant at SunPower Corporation in 2016. Gorman holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering - Product Development from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Taylor University.
