Neville Jos

Neville Jos is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in technology leadership and data science. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering and Founding Engineer at Basis since July 2023, Neville previously held key roles including Founder Fellowship at On Deck, and Business Intelligence lead at Better.com, where management of a team of analysts resulted in impactful research and operational improvements. As CTO at Rose Technology, Neville oversaw a team developing tools for research and data analysis. Prior experience includes CTO positions at DealStart and Graviton, and foundational roles in software engineering at various startups and consulting firms. With a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Neville demonstrates a strong blend of technical expertise and leadership in diverse projects across the technology landscape.
