Lanette Hodge

LaNette Hodge has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. LaNette is currently serving as the Head of School at BASIS Independent Schools since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the East Coast Regional Director of Admissions at BASIS Independent Schools from January 2019 to July 2022. LaNette also held the position of Director of Admissions at the same school from April 2016 to July 2022 and from October 2014 to June 2016.

Before joining BASIS Independent Schools, LaNette was a Board Trustee and Institutional Advancement Committee Chair at Brooklyn Heights Montessori School from September 2011 to May 2014. LaNette served as the President of Design House Reps, Inc. from May 2003 to December 2009. Prior to that, they worked as a Business Development Manager at Afficient from February 2000 to April 2002. LaNette started their career at Zonta International as a Convention Manager from June 1993 to January 2000 and as a Business Development Consultant at First West Venture, Inc. from January 1993 to January 2000.

LaNette Hodge attended the Latin School of Chicago from 1984 to 1988 and obtained their High School Diploma. Following their graduation, they pursued further education at the University of Iowa from 1988 to 1992. During this time, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government.
