Matthew Glenn

Matthew G. is an experienced educator with a strong background in school counseling and teaching across various grade levels. Currently working as a School Counseling Intern at BASIS Independent Schools since June 2022, Matthew G. also holds positions as a Subject Expert Teacher and Learning Expert Teacher. Prior experience includes roles as the ES K-5 Math Coordinator and 3rd Grade Teacher at Shanghai SMIC Private School from August 2020 to June 2022, and as a 6th Grade Teacher at Hailiang Education Group from August 2018 to August 2020. Earlier in their career, Matthew G. worked as a Ramp Agent for Delta Air Lines and as a Teacher with Anchorage School District. Additional experience includes child care at Campfire Alaska Council and managerial responsibilities in student activities at the University of Alaska Anchorage. Currently pursuing a Master of Education in International School Counseling at Lehigh University, Matthew G. also holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Alaska Anchorage.
