Chad Rice

Chad Rice, MAT, currently serves as the Lead Humanities Teacher for Grade 2 at BASIS International Schools, where responsibilities include guiding students in transdisciplinary inquiry and adapting curricula to enhance engagement. With extensive experience in various educational roles, Chad previously worked as an ELL Teacher, managing academic interventions and testing assessments, and as a long-term substitute teacher in Math and Science. Prior teaching positions include English Teacher at Yujung Global School and Lead Native English Teacher at Chungnam Foreign Language High School, where Chad developed innovative curricula and assessments. In addition to teaching, Chad has a background in business, serving as a Senior Business Account Executive, and holds a Master's in Teaching from the University of Southern California along with multiple other certifications. Chad's educational qualifications include degrees in Linguistics and Japanese from the University of California, Davis, and a CELTA Certificate from the University of Cambridge.
