Matthew Pidoux

Matthew Pidoux is an experienced Physical Education Teacher currently employed at BASIS International Schools since July 2023. Previously, Matthew completed a PGCE in Physical Education Teaching and Coaching at Staffordshire University from September 2022 to July 2023. Matthew's career includes roles as a Learning Assistant and Swimming Teacher at Sandbach School, where work focused on supporting SEND students, as well as various swimming teaching positions including Private 1 on 1 Swim Teacher at Swim Now UK and group instruction at Becky Addlington Swim Stars. Matthew has also held significant roles abroad, including Head of Boarding at Hoi An International School in Vietnam, and has experience teaching Physical Education in settings ranging from mainstream schools to online platforms. Matthew holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management from Sheffield Hallam University and completed secondary education at Sandbach School.
