Mike Furrey has extensive experience in both professional football and coaching. Currently, Mike Furrey serves as an Assistant Football Coach at Marshall University, a position held since March 2013. Concurrently, Mike Furrey has been an NFL player for the Cleveland Browns since May 2010, with a notable prior playing career that includes stints with the Detroit Lions and St. Louis Rams. In addition to football, Mike Furrey is actively involved in philanthropy, serving as President of the Basket of Hope and as President & Founder of The Mike Furrey Foundation, both established in 2007. Mike Furrey holds a Bachelor's degree in Football from the University of Northern Iowa and attended Ohio State University from 1995 to 1997.
