Head Athletic Therapist at Basketball Ireland

Cian Smyth has had a diverse range of work experience. In 2018, they worked as a Student Athletic Therapist at Dublin City University, and in 2021 they also worked there as part of the DCU Elite Athlete Screening team. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Retail Assistant at Marks and Spencer. In 2020, they became an Athletic Therapist at Dunboyne GAA and joined ExWell Medical as an Athletic Therapist in 2021. Cian also worked as a Retail Assistant at Gala Retail Services in 2021. Cian joined Basketball Ireland in 2022 as the Head Athletic Therapist for the U16 Girls team and has previously worked with the U18 Women's National Team. 4. Dynamic Cupping Therapy from Elite Injury Care Education in November 2023.

5. IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization) from Elite Injury Care Education in November 2023.
