Anna Carr

Anna Carr has diverse work experience in the legal and financial industries. Anna is currently the Managing Director of the Commercial Real Estate, Debt Finance, and Public Finance Practice Groups at Bass, Berry & Sims since March 2020. Prior to this, Anna worked at SimplyAgree as a Senior Account Executive from November 2018 to February 2020, where they managed the sales process and collaborated with practice management and IT executives at major law firms. Before joining SimplyAgree, they held various roles at Latitude, including Vice President, Director of Business Development, and Attorney Development and Placement Director, from September 2015 to November 2018. Anna also worked at Bass, Berry & Sims as an Associate in the Commercial Group from September 2012 to August 2015, representing lenders and borrowers in complex financing transactions. Anna started their legal career as a Summer Associate at Bass, Berry & Sims, Baker Donelson, and Manier & Herod in 2011 and as a Risk Analyst at Marsh in 2008 and 2007. Anna also gained experience as an Intern at UBS in 2006.

Anna Carr attended Harpeth Hall School from 1997 to 2005. Anna then pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Risk Management and Insurance at The University of Georgia from 2005 to 2009. In 2007, Anna attended Universidad de Palermo to study Spanish Language and Literature, albeit for a brief period. Lastly, Anna completed their education at the University of Tennessee College of Law from 2009 to 2012, earning a Doctor of Law (JD) degree.
