Alicia Duran

Alicia Duran has had extensive work experience in financial roles. Alicia currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Bass Performance Hall / Performing Arts Fort Worth. Prior to this, they held the same position at Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County and Center for Transforming Lives. Alicia also worked as an independent Chief Financial Officer at Alicia Duran, CPA. Further, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Lena Pope Home, Inc. and held the role of Director of Educational Services & Strategic Planning at Project PACE within the same organization. Alicia has also worked as a Senior Auditor at PwC. Additionally, they have been involved in political campaigns as a Campaign Treasurer for Ramon Romero, Jr. Texas State Representative for District 90 and Ramon Romero, Jr. Candidate for Fort Worth City Council District 8.

Alicia Duran has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from the Southern Methodist University's Cox School of Business, which they obtained between 1989 and 1993. Alicia also earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Spanish from Southern Methodist University during the same time period. In 2007, they completed an Executive Masters in Business Administration (MBA) program at Texas Christian University's M.J. Neeley School of Business. Furthermore, in 2013, they obtained an Executive Education Certificate in Performance Measurement for Effective Management of Nonprofits from Harvard Kennedy School. Additionally, Alicia Duran is a Certified Public Accountant, accredited by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy in 1997.
