Katarina Paasi has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Katarina has held various leadership positions in renowned companies such as Basware, TeliaSonera Business Services, SAP Nordic, SAP Finland, AKS Informationssystem Oy, Total Communication Scandinavia Oy, and Hanken.

At Basware, Katarina served as the SVP Global Revenue Operations and the VP of Global Revenue Operations. Katarina also held the role of Vice President Sales & Marketing Operations and Development, where they led the Global Sales & Marketing Operations and Development team, focusing on enhancing customer experience and driving sales performance and productivity. In their tenure, they achieved notable accomplishments, including a full redefinition of marketing and sales processes and the implementation of digitalization and automation in the sales process.

Prior to this, at TeliaSonera Business Services, Katarina was responsible for developing a new sales learning and competence development approach. Katarina led the Head of Sales Training role and also served as the Head of Management & Operational Excellence, where they supported and drove various change projects, implemented new processes, and developed methodologies for sales management and measurement.

Their experience at SAP Nordic involved working as a Sales Operations Principal, where they supported sales teams and management across the Nordic region, driving field performance and productivity through innovation and best practices.

At SAP Finland, Katarina held various positions within Marketing, Sales, and Sales Operations. Katarina was responsible for developing and implementing processes related to customer satisfaction, reference management, and sales training program adherence.

Katarina also has experience as a Marketing Manager at AKS Informationssystem Oy, a Planner at Total Communication Scandinavia Oy, and a Sales & Marketing Coordinator at AKS Informationssystem Oy. Katarina was also the Head of Marketing and Information at Hanken.

Throughout their career, Katarina has demonstrated expertise in sales operations, sales strategy execution, planning, and governance, sales metrics, processes and tools, as well as sales enablement. Katarina is skilled in driving organizational change, implementing new processes, and enhancing customer experience.

Katarina Paasi attended Hanken School of Economics from 1994 to 1999, earning their MSC Econ degree in Management & Organisation, Marketing. In 1998, they also participated in an ERASMUS Exchange program at Sheffield University Management School, where they studied Management & Entrepreneurship. Earlier, in 1991, they attended The American School in England, focusing on English.
