Kristen Lainsbury

Kristen Lainsbury is a seasoned communications and marketing professional currently serving as Vice President for Communications and Marketing at Bates College since October 2024. With a rich history that includes roles such as Vice President for Marketing and Communications at Earlham College, Senior Director of Marketing and Creative Services at Providence College, and extensive experience as a freelance writer and editor since 1997, Kristen has developed and implemented integrated marketing strategies across various institutions. Kristen's expertise also encompasses arts and higher education marketing communications, as well as significant contributions to the Bangor Daily News as a columnist. Kristen holds a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Maine and completed an executive program at MIT Sloan School of Management in 2016.
