Lidija Butterworth

Lidija Butterworth is an Associate Director at Bates Smart. Lidija has over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting.

Lidija began their career as a Financial Controller / Finance Manager at Village Roadshow. Lidija then moved to Thomson Reuters, where they worked as a Publisher / New Product Developer. In this role, they were responsible for preparing business cases to create and commission books, tools and other technical information to satisfy the needs of ‘small’ accounting professionals.

In 2007, Lidija joined Orica as an Environmental Project Accountant. In this role, they were the finance partner to the Head of Environmental Remediation and was responsible for the financial management and control of all environmental matters, including financial accounting (preparation of environmental provision proofs and supporting accounting technical papers), management accounting (tracking of actual v budget and forecast) project costing and financial modelling.

Lidija has been with Bates Smart since September 2018.

Lidija Butterworth has a Bachelor of Economics and Politics from Monash University. Lidija is currently working as an accountant.
