James Devor

James Devor has extensive experience in operations and engineering management within the manufacturing sector, particularly in the casket industry. Currently serving as Operations Manager at Batesville Casket Company since February 2015, James manages the metal stamping operation and has held roles including Engineering/Maintenance Manager at the same company. Prior to this, James was the Engineering Manager at Genesis Casket, significantly contributing to the startup by implementing a $21 million capital expenditure plan and successfully launching plant operations within six months. James's earlier roles include Project Manager/Facility Manager at Edwards Electrical & Mechanical, Co-Owner of Quality Improvement Center, and Plant Manager at Midwest Building Systems. Having begun career work at Batesville Casket Company as Manufacturing Team Manager from 1987 to 2002, James possesses a strong foundation in operational leadership. James holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from St. Joseph's College, obtained in 1984.
