Sonjah McKnight

Sonjah McKnight has been in the philanthropic field since 1999 when they began their career at the Baton Rouge Area Foundation as the Director of Donor Services. In 2007, they took on the role of Fund Development Consultant at the Foundation for Louisiana, as well as Principal at Resources Strategies and Ventures in Philanthropy. In 2021, they became Programs at Employees 1st, and in 2022 they returned to the Baton Rouge Area Foundation as the Director of Development.

Sonjah McKnight attended Louisiana State University from 1979 to 1983, where they earned a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism.
