William Smith

William Smith is an experienced facilities management professional currently serving as the Executive Director of Facilities and Environmental Health and Services at Baton Rouge Community College since October 2015. Prior to this role, William held positions as CEO at Solar Ranch Renewable Energy Consulting from November 2012 to October 2015 and as Director of Facilities Management and Planning at Arizona Western College from May 2002 to November 2012. William began their career in facilities management as the Director of Facilities at Wenatchee Valley College from February 1982 to May 2002, following an apprenticeship in general construction with Cascade Interiors from 1979 to 1982 and experience as an accountant at C.K. Ciurej, CPA Accountants from 1977 to 1979. William's educational credentials include a degree in Business Accounting from Wenatchee Valley College, certifications from the FEMA Emergency Management Institute, and training from the APPA Institute for Facilities Management.
