Paul Dabisch has a diverse work experience in the field of biodefense and research. Paul started their career as a National Research Council Postdoctoral Fellow at the US Army Edgewood Chemical Biological Center in 2003. After completing their fellowship in 2004, they transitioned to the role of Research Biologist at the same organization until 2007.
In 2007, they joined the US Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) as a Research Toxicologist. Paul was later promoted to the position of Supervisory Research Toxicologist in 2010, and they held this role until 2011.
Since 2011, Paul has been working at Battelle National Biodefense Institute, LLC. Paul initially joined as a Principal Investigator, contributing their expertise until 2013. From 2013 to 2021, they served as a Senior Principal Investigator in the field of aerobiology, and then took on the position of Chief Scientist, Aerobiology in 2022.
Throughout their career, Paul has gained extensive knowledge and experience in the areas of biodefense, aerobiology, and research.
Paul Dabisch earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Agronomy and Crop Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, from 1995 to 1999. Paul then pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Pharmacology at the Tulane University School of Medicine, from 1999 to 2003.
