Casey Chen

Casey Chen has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Lead Technician in Limnology at Battelle, where they perform sampling of physical, chemical, and biological data. They also have experience as a Temporary Field Technician in Fauna at Battelle.

Prior to that, Casey worked as a General Manager at Escape Room Herndon, where they focused on overseeing game masters and ensuring smooth operations. They were also involved in puzzle management and testing new rooms.

Casey also has experience as a Registered Behavioral Technician at CENTRIA, where they implemented Discrete Trial Training (DTT) and maintained session progress notes for clients. They also had a role as a Research Assistant at COPROT Tortugas de Osa.

In addition, Casey worked as a Health Provider for an autistic student at Public Partnerships, where they managed daily activities and provided support to establish independence. They also have experience as a Waitress at Thai '99 II: Restaurant and Bar and as a Head Baker at Speedie B's.

Lastly, Casey worked as a Kennel Assistant at Georgetown Veterinary Hospital, where they provided care and attention to animals and performed basic services for the hospital.

Casey Chen completed their high school education at Albemarle High School from 2010 to 2014. They then attended Piedmont Virginia Community College from 2014 to 2017, where they obtained an Associate's Degree in Elementary Education and Teaching. From 2017 to 2019, Casey attended George Mason University and obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science in Conservation Biology. In 2019, they attended the Smithsonian-Mason School of Conservation for a minor in Conservation Biology.
