Alasdair James

Alasdair James is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in various financial roles. Currently serving as Finance Director at Battersea Power Station since February 2019, Alasdair has previously held positions as Group Financial Controller and Financial Controller. Prior to this, Alasdair was a Commercial Accountant at Landsec, managing finances for over £1 billion in retail assets and playing a key role in financial reporting and budgeting. Alasdair also has experience as an Internal Auditor and External Auditor with Grant Thornton UK LLP, where responsibilities included managing client relationships and leading audit assignments. Early career experiences include an ACA Trainee position at Lewis Golden & Co, and a role as a Secondary Teacher with Teach First. Alasdair holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from The University of Edinburgh and an ACA qualification from ICAEW.
