Alicia joined Battery in 2014. As marketing director, she leads the firm’s events strategy. She is also actively involved in public relations initiatives for the firm and its global portfolio companies.
Before Battery, Alicia was a senior associate at Burson-Marsteller, a global public relations firm, where she led account teams for clients including Hewlett-Packard’s enterprise software and converged-systems business units. At Burson-Marsteller, Alicia specialized in translating technical concepts into innovation-focused storylines and PR campaigns that moved the needle for her clients. Before that, Alicia worked for K/F Communications, a boutique public relations agency, where she assisted with media and analyst relations for consumer and enterprise technology startups.
Alicia graduated with a degree in mass communications from the University of California, Berkeley.
