Paul Ventimiglia

Paul Ventimiglia is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in product design and mechanical engineering. Currently a Senior Product Design Engineer at Amazon Lab126 since April 2022, Paul also serves as Owner and Lead Mechatronics Engineer at Aptyx Designs, directing an engineering consulting firm that specializes in robotic systems from conception to installation. In addition to that role, Paul has been a Team Leader and Mechanical Designer at BattleBots since March 2001, where achievements include four championship wins. Previous positions include Lead Mechanical Design Engineer at Robby Technologies, where responsibilities involved overseeing the mechatronics system engineering, and Mechanical Engineer at Double Robotics, focusing on mechanical design and assembly training during product ramp-up. Earlier in a career, Paul interned at Boston Dynamics and led a successful technical team at Paul's Robotics, winning a NASA competition with the "Moonraker" robot. Paul holds a degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, completed between 2005 and 2012.
