Tim Bouwens

Tim Bouwens is an accomplished mechanical engineer with extensive experience in robotics and automotive engineering. Currently serving as a competitor for BattleBots since October 2022, Tim previously held multiple roles at MI-Partners BV from November 2016, including Senior Mechanical Engineer and Mechanical Engineer. Tim is also the Voorzitter for Stichting Dutch Robot Games, which organizes robot competitions in the Benelux region. Tim's prior experience includes senior and design engineering positions at SEGULA Technologies and engagements with BattleBots and Mevi Advanced Technology. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering/Automotive Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology and a Graduate Researcher role at the Florida Institute of Technology. Tim's educational background is further supported by a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology.
