Carlos Chávarri Prado

Carlos Cabañas Herranz is a creative professional with extensive experience in graphic design and typography education. Currently serving as a Typography Professor at BAU, Centre Universitari d'Arts i Disseny since October 2022 and as a Graphic Designer at Estudi JJ Bertran since April 2019, Carlos also holds teaching positions at LCI Barcelona and Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, focusing on Typography and Branding. Carlos's past roles include Design Professor at Seeway and graphic design positions at Lateral Branding, Fake Studio, and Estudi Mariona Garcia, accentuating a strong foundation in design for cultural projects, editorial design, and corporate identity. Additionally, Carlos contributed as a member of the organizing committee for the International Typography Congress in Valencia from 2008 to 2016 and participated in the typographic collective Catalana de Tipos from 2006 to 2010. Educational credentials include degrees in Graphic Design from BAU.
