Thomas Taube

Thomas Taube is an experienced audio professional with a diverse background in sound engineering and media design. Currently working as a Tontechniker and Mediengestalter at Bayerischer Rundfunk since September 2023, Taube also holds the position of Toningenieur and Pro Tools-Operator at Bavaria Film Gruppe since February 2022. With a strong commitment to live sound, Taube has provided live mixing for various bands at national and international concerts and festivals since 2011, while also managing live recordings. As CEO and Mischtonmeister at FiveLakes Tonstudio since January 2009, Taube specializes in music and film audio production, including podcasts and audio mastering. Previous roles include positions at Sky, Pixelschickeria, and Bayerischer Rundfunk, where Taube contributed to sound design, mixing for documents, and various recording projects. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Recording Arts from Middlesex University and SAE Institute Munich.
