Christian Vilstrup

Christian Vilstrup began their work experience as an Attorney-at-Law with Gorrissen Federspiel, where they gained extensive experience in contract law, company law, M&A, venture, employment law, and litigation. Afterward, they joined Novo Nordisk, starting as a Senior Corporate Counsel and later becoming the Head of Legal, Compliance & Quality for Business Area Europe North & Central. Christian also served as the Director of Legal, Compliance & Quality for Business Area North West Europe. In 2020, Vilstrup joined Bavarian Nordic as the Legal Director, responsible for global legal aspects related to the company's approved and marketed vaccines. Christian then served as the Vice President, Head of Legal & Assistant General Counsel before assuming their current role as the Group General Counsel, Senior Vice President, Legal & Global IP. Vilstrup oversees the Legal & Global IP department, managing legal, contractual, corporate, compliance, and insurance matters, as well as the company's IP strategy.

Christian Vilstrup attended Marie Kruses Skole from 1986 to 1998, Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen from 1999 to 2005, and University of Montpellier in 2003 where they studied law. Christian did not obtain any specific degree or field of study information for these institutions.
